The following projects were funded by the Josephine County Cultural Coalition for 2017.
3 Rivers Chorale. $1,000 to sponsor a special concert in 2017.
Barnstormers Theatre. $1,500 to make over the prop and costume rooms.
City of Grants Pass Committee on Public Art. $1,500 to feature a local “mural of the month” with information and photos in The Daily Courier throughout 2017.
Dancing People Company. $1,500 for movement classes and performance at Grants Pass High School.
Judy Davidson and Val Ornelas. $1,500 for their garden mural on Fourth and G streets.
Josephine Community Libraries. $1,500 for signature artwork in the remodeled Illinois Valley branch children’s area.
Josephine County Historical Society. $1,500 for free museum visit program, providing admission for a kindergartner and adult to the Schmidt House Museum.
Options of Southern Oregon. $1,100 for a client who is an artist to mount public exhibitions of his work.
Rogue Valley Symphony. $1,500 to provide free tickets for students and an adult to Grants Pass concerts.
Southern Oregon Public Television. $1,500 for Josephine County youth to be featured in the “Student Showcase.”
Sunny Wolf Charter School. $1,500 for an Artist in the School program.
