The following are projects funded by the Josephine County Cultural Coalition in 2015 for implementation in 2016.
Barnstormers Theatre. $1,500 to help publicize the production of “Urinetown,” and to create a Director’s Handbook for the theatre.
Dancing People Company. $1,500 for its 2016 program at Grants Pass High School.
Gateway Mural Project headed by Lisa Volkert. $500 toward completing the mural on Ringuette Street.
Grants Pass School District 7 teacher Lois MacMillan. $1,500 to bring “Lincoln at the Library” program to South Middle School.
Grants Pass Museum of Art. $1,000 for a visibility project that will bring new signage for the museum.
Josephine Community Libraries. $1,500 toward a new signature art piece for the children’s library.
Josephine County Historical Society. $500 toward the “Early History Stories” project, to get basic local history stories published and available to local students.
Greater Grants Pass Rotary Club. $750 to help bring “More than a Survivor” photo-educational exhibit to Grants Pass.
Rogue Valley Symphony. $1,500 for the program to give free tickets to music students and an accompanying adult for concerts in Grants Pass.
Siskiyou Music Project. $1,500 toward its artists in the schools program.
Sunny Wolf Charter School. $1,600 toward bringing four professional artists to teach.
Whirlwind Play Festival in Cave Junction. $1,000 to help put on the event.
